Mr. Whatley joined Evergreen Pacific Partners in July 2008 as a Senior Vice President. Before joining Evergreen, Mr. Whatley was a Director in Credit Suisse’s investment banking division in New York. While at Credit Suisse, Mr. Whatley focused on financial sponsor clients and worked with companies across numerous industries including consumer, transportation, packaging, building products, medical devices, aerospace & defense, industrial services and technology. Mr. Whatley’s experience at Credit Suisse included over 30 transactions raising $30 billion plus in leveraged loan, high yield and IPO financings in both North America and Europe. Prior to Credit Suisse, Mr. Whatley was a Director in the Sponsor Coverage and Leveraged Finance Group at CIBC World Markets in New York focusing on senior and mezzanine debt transactions for middle market companies. Mr. Whatley also served as an officer in the U.S. Army’s Corps of Engineers.

Mr. Whatley's primary area of responsibility at Evergreen Pacific Partners is sourcing new investment opportunities and maintaining relationships with investment banks and other intermediaries.

Mr. Whatley holds a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
